the architecture practice required a visual-first portfolio to showcase their architectural masterpieces. We developed an AWS-hosted Next.js application built to deliver high-resolution image assets instantly.
The Challenge
A premium architecture practice required a visual-first digital portfolio to showcase their complex projects and high-resolution design photography. They needed to present large media assets without slowing down the page load times, which would hurt SEO rankings. They also needed to defend their contact pages from automated marketing spam.
The Solution
We built a Next.js application powered by AWS S3 and CloudFront CDN for global image optimisation and edge caching. The page grid displays high-resolution projects using modern image compression, while the contact pathways are protected by AWS WAF, custom rate-limiting, and security headers.
The Results
A beautiful, premium portfolio showcasing high-end design assets with near-zero lag. The AWS integration achieved Grade-A security ratings and kept mobile performance metrics above 98%, while AWS WAF successfully filtered out form-fill bots.
