In 2026, we migrated BloodyInk Edinburgh from their previous Shopify store to a custom-designed WordPress architecture. This transition was engineered to support rich visual gallery grids and a secure, streamlined booking system.
The Challenge
By 2026, the studio required a more flexible content management system than Shopify could offer for visual layouts, alongside robust form security. Their booking forms were targets for automated spam, and they needed a solution to collect artist requests safely without performance lag.
The Solution
We executed a full migration to WordPress, designing custom gallery grids to display artist portfolios in high resolution. We secured all booking routes by routing traffic through Cloudflare WAF, setting up custom firewall rules, and configuring strict security headers.
The Results
The new WordPress platform gave the studio complete layout flexibility and significantly faster load times. The custom Cloudflare WAF rules successfully blocked all automated form spam, securing customer requests and providing a premium booking experience.
