A well-known local bar with a strong brand identity had an existing website that lacked key functionality and clarity. While the brand’s visual charm was present, the user experience and technical foundation were holding it back.
The Challenge
A popular Glasgow bar and restaurant had a slow website with missing legal pages, no cookie consent, and menus available only as PDF downloads. A confusing booking CTA led to user frustration since the bar did not accept online bookings.
The Solution
We rebuilt the website on Next.js, implementing proper GDPR cookie consent and legal pages. We converted PDF menus into mobile-optimised, indexable web pages, corrected CTA buttons, and optimised layout files for fast performance.
The Results
The new website is GDPR-compliant, loads instantly on mobile, and ranks for local food and drink queries. The clear menu pages and accurate CTAs improved local customer foot traffic.
