The Challenge
Iona Bar required a modern web presence to showcase menus and events in Edinburgh. They needed indexable menu structures to rank for local search terms rather than using PDF downloads, alongside spam-protected contact forms.
The Solution
We built a static Next.js website on Vercel. We converted all food and drink menus into optimised, SEO-friendly page grids. The contact pages were protected by Cloudflare WAF, custom firewall rules, and headers.
The Results
The site ranked for local dining terms, and menus loaded instantly on mobile. The custom firewall rules successfully blocked all automated contact spam, ensuring clean customer requests.
